The cape of Attica, Sounio, is located at the southern end of the prefecture of Attica. Therefore, during this 1 hour and 15 minute ride we will follow a beautiful coastal route witnessing some of the crystal clear waters Greece has to offer.

History

During this trip we will visit the Temple of Poseidon, a beautiful archeological site. The Temple was built in 444-440 BCE with 34 columns of Marble Doric style. Given its representation of the god of the sea, it was viewed as an important sanctuary for sailors. Currently, only 15 pillars stand and as a result of its cultural and historical value, the whole area has been declared a national park.
