Delphi & Arachova
Tour Summary
According to Greek mythology, Zeus released two eagles, one from the East and one from the West. The place in which they met was considered to be the center of the world. This place was named Delphi, known as the navel of the Earth. Delphi was a point of reference and an important political, cultural and religious center that united ancient Hellenism for centuries. One of the most important monuments, the Oracle of Apollo, was built there as a sanctuary to Apollo.
