The Private Athens Tours begin from the moment you are picked up, starting with a tour of Thissio. Located in the center of Athens, Thissio is one of the most traditional neighborhoods, taking its name from the Temple of Hephaestus. After viewing the temple, we will continue around the hill of the Acropolis until we reach the hill of Philopappos. The hill of Philopappos is a beautiful hill, also known as the Hill of the Muses, containing a stunning view of the Acropolis.
Acropolis Museum
The tour can continue through the Acropolis Museum, where you will get a chance to view a multitude of historical architecture. Next, for our sports fans will be a tour of the Panathinaiko Stadium or Kallimarmaro, the stage that hosted the 1896 Olympic Games.The National Garden
The next stop will be the National Garden, located behind the Greek Parliament building. This garden is beautiful and quiet, full of a variety of rare species of plants and birds. The tour will end near Monastiraki Square, the heart of Athens! Where we will visit the National Archeological Museum home to thousands of exhibits from Ancient Greece. From there, we will make our way up towards the Acropolis and Parthenon passing along the way: the Erechtheion, the Temple of Caryatids and Propylaea, and the Gate of the Acropolis. The tour will end on the hill of Lycabettus viewing the entirety of Athens.
